Partners of Refugees in Illinois Disability Employment (PRIDE) is a community-driven, culturally and linguistically tailored, research-informed project. PRIDE works to improve employment and career opportunities for refugees with disabilities who resettle in Illinois.

PRIDE is funded by a three-year development grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). The program is based in the Department of Disability and Human Development and the Department of Occupational Therapy, University of Illinois at Chicago. It has a wide range of community partners, including government and nonprofit agencies and organizations and self-advocates with disabilities and their families.
